The game can be divided into 4 parts:
1) The Betting Round
During the betting time of 12 seconds you place your bets. To join the game you firstly need to decide which treasures/stones you want to discover on the wall. You can select one or more treasure stones. The stones have 6 different colours: brown, orange, purple, green, blue as well as red. Each colour reflects a certain payout value (1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 20x and 65x). The higher the payout value of a stone the less often it appears on the wall as per the below table:

Afterwards, you need to choose how many chances/picks you will need to discover your selected stones. You can buy up to 20 picks per game round.
Your total bet amount will be number of chosen picks multiplied by the total value of the bets placed on the treasure stones. For example, if you place R5 and R10 on two different stones and choose 4 picks your total bet amount is (R5+R10) x 4 = R60.
2) The Treasure Hunt
After you have made your decision and placed your bets it is time to start playing and hunting for treasures (as well as big payouts). All stones on the wall are shuffled and flipped so the values are hidden. Then the countdown clock starts ticking. For every pick you bought you can now select one stone on the wall by clicking or tapping on it. The aim is to guess where on the wall your selected stones are hidden. In case you don’t make all your picks manually within the given time the game randomly picks stones for you. 3) The Prize Drop
Wait, there is more. The game features Prize Drops which can massively increase your winnings. Gonzo activates the Prize Drop feature when turning the big golden key and contains the following:
- Bonus prizes with a value between 3 to 100 will appear at the top of the wall. If there is an opening in the row below the prize will drop down and then stop randomly. This increases the prize value of the stone it has landed on.
- Multipliers between 2x and 10x. If there is a gap for the multiplier to drop it will then be applied to all visible bonus prizes on the wall.
- Per game round up to 10 Re-drops can appear in addition. A re-drop repeats the prize drop round for even more bonuses.
The maximum amount a single stone can reach during the Prize Drop feature is 20,000.
4) The Big Reveal
The game round ends when all stones are revealed and matched to the bets you made. The more matches you have the bigger your win will be.
