Go Bet has been placed under liquidation

19 October 2020 |

Sad news for all players who liked to play at go-bet.co.za. GoBet Sports Betting has just announced that the company has been placed under liquidation.

The COVID pandemic has seen South Africa going into a lockdown level 5, resulting in bookmakers being closed. While more and more punters are playing online these days, the overall financial effects have nevertheless been devastating for many operators. Especially smaller bookies with less financial backing are struggling to survive in these uncertain and difficult times. The sports world slowly returns to some form of normality with leagues resuming and postponed tournaments going ahead. But the overall situation looks very different for punters and bookmakers alike.

Go Bet online has made its best efforts to recover by going under business rescue. But at the end all attempts were not enough and the company has been placed under liquidation.

Th bookmaker was operating on the Turfsport platform, offering a decent selection of sports and lucky numbers. We liked the modern layout in green and white and the user-friendly navigation. But compared to other bookies the offering and payment solutions were never outstanding.

If you have played at GoBet online and have any questions or queries regarding outstanding stakes or balances and the upcoming liquidation process you can contact the Bet Go team via email: customerservice@go-bet.co.za
