Love Our Turf

Cheltenham Racecourse launched Love Our Turf, a new community-focused initiative, during The Festival. The aim of the Love Our Turf campaign was to reduce the impact of anti-social racegoers on the local community. Also to enhance the experience of pedestrian racegoers attending the event. They accomplished this by improving recognized routes to the Festival through the use of Wayfinding ushers, enhanced street cleaning, and increased toilet facilities. They are encouraging everyone to Love Our Turf, Respect Our Town, and be Considerate Racegoers. This campaign is a collaborative effort between Cheltenham Racecourse and other local stakeholders’ groups. Including Gloucestershire Police and Cheltenham BID (Business Improvement District).
